The Temagami has been part of Helle's lineup for years, and this updated version makes a meaningful change by moving to 14C28N stainless steel. The switch to a non-laminated steel is more than a material preference. It allows the spine to be ground to a true 90-degree edge straight from the factory, which means you can strike a ferro rod reliably without any additional prep work. For canoe trippers, backpackers, and bushcrafters who rely on fire starting as a core skill, that's a genuinely useful feature.

At 110mm, the blade sits in a practical sweet spot for camp tasks. Long enough to handle food prep and wood processing, short enough to carry comfortably on a day paddle or portage trail.
